Biography: Herbert 'Cowboy' Coward is an American performer who began acting at the Wild West amusement park, Maggie Valley, North Carolina. Coward got the role as the toothless mountain man in the film "Deliverance" when Burt Reynolds remembered him from working together at the park early in his career.
